OPEN KNOWLEDGE JOURNAL

About

What this site is and how its notes are organised.

About this journal

Open Knowledge Journal is a small, independent collection of explanatory notes. It brings together approachable introductions to subjects that shape everyday life, from the internet and digital tools to geography, science and public information.

The aim is clarity rather than completeness. Each article introduces a subject, explains a few useful ideas and points out where a reader can learn more.

Editorial approach

The articles are written to be useful as starting points. They favour plain language, stable concepts and practical examples. They are not professional, legal, medical or financial advice, and they should not replace specialist sources where those are needed.

Using this site

Articles are grouped by topic and can be read in any order. The site is intentionally lightweight: pages are pre-built, there are no accounts, and no visitor comments or tracking features are provided.
